Reshaping Australia’s future
Our vision for reshaping the future
Over the next decade, Australia faces significant and unacceptable levels of poverty and social exclusion. Along with the challenges of rebuilding from the COVID-19 pandemic, factors like rising living costs, climate change and housing stress are creating an uncertain future for many.
To help tackle these challenges and achieve our vision of an Australia free of poverty, we have developed our Strategy 2030. This plan draws on our rigorous research and the perspectives of people from inside and outside BSL, including the Board, staff, volunteers, service participants, the community and our partners. Through these insights and game-changing ideas, we’ve brought together a strategy for the future that will help shape real change in the lead-up to 2030 and beyond.
Priority setting and business planning activities under the new Strategy 2030 will continue in the next financial year under the direction of the Board, for implementation across the whole organisation.
